Our beautiful sweetgrass braids are wild-harvested locally by traditional gatherers. The sweet smell of sweetgrass will linger for days if not weeks when you burn this in your home. Sweetgrass is one of the four sacred medicines of many indigenous groups across Turtle Island. Our braids are typically 18-24 inches long. Sweetgrass grows in the estuaries of our Wabanaki territory and beyond. Indigenous people have used this sacred plant for ceremonial purposes to clear a space of negativities so the positive energies we all carry can enter.
